The Village Hall is a wonderful asset for the villages of Chignal Smealey, Chignal St James and Mashbury. It is the meeting place for the regular gatherings of the Bowls Club, Table Tennis Club, Women’s Institute, Wine Discovery Group, Gardening Club and the Community Group as well as the regular Parish Council meetings and Coffee Mornings.

In terms of non-regular events, the Hall is hired as the venue for parties, private events, social gatherings, quiz nights, weddings, training courses and many other events.

The main Hall has a spectacular high vaulted ceiling and a magnificent view through 6-metre sliding patio doors leading to a large west facing paved patio with awning and grassed area.
