Chignal Parish

Chignals Croquet

Founded in 2013 as a legacy of the community spirit inspired by the 2012 Olympic Games, our village croquet Club has become one of the villages popular clubs.  What began as a small gathering of villagers, has now grown into a vibrant club of 26 members,  enjoying each others’ company as well as games of croquet!

We meet from April until October at the village playing field, playing on the first Sunday of each month – weather permitting! Games are friendly, but competitive as we keep a spreadsheet of  results when the overall winner of the year will pick up the Caisley Cup.

Beyond the field games we enjoy social gatherings too, BBQs, meals out and extra croquet at each others homes. We welcome new members at anytime – anyone can come along to try on one of the Sundays.  Contact Lee Bailey on 07917718567 to find out more information.
